Full/Half Hauls 25 Ton Travel Lift

Our newer and reliable travel lift effortlessly handles most boats up to 42-50′, making your boat hauling or launching experience as smooth as possible, leaving you with a worry-free mindset throughout the entire process. Our operators have a minimum of 5 years’ experience operating the lift in order to prepare boats to be hauled. We offer full haul-outs and half haul outs, depending on the need of our client. Our in-house travel lift symbiotically aids the entire process of our brokerage, making in that much easier, on you, to sell and list your boat with Essex Marina & Boat Sales.

Bottom Work

Our one-stop-shop takes the hassle out bottom work; from zincs to bottom paint, we have it covered. The boatyard section of Essex Marina specializes in using Maryland Clean Marina Guidelines to give you the same impressively smooth and clean bottom while taking the necessary procedures to ensure that our #1 resource, the Chesapeake Bay, stays as clean as possible. We typically recommend, when redoing your bottom, to have it power washed, sanded smooth, and painted at least once per year, typically in the Spring. Unlike other Boatyards, we ensure that 100% of your bottom is painted and protected.

Fiberglass

Essex Marina uses the most skilled and experienced fiberglass technicians, with over 30 years of experience in the field, to make the necessary structural and cosmetic repairs to leave your boat looking and feeling stronger than when it was new.

Full Detailing and Cleaning

Detailing boats, in our mind unlike many others, is just that; detailing every inch of your vessel. Our multi-step check procedure to constantly verify that you are getting the cleanest, dirt free boat when we are finished.

Outdrive, Propeller, Bottom Gear Work

Essex Marina understand that the gear on the bottom of your boat, including the propellers, outdrives, and shafts, need to be in optimal condition to keep your vessel running the best it can. We regularly inspect, remove, and refinish boat bottom gear to keep your boating experience the best it can be

New Installations

Our experienced yard crew can handle from simple refitting of trim tabs, to new GPS systems and everything in-between. We work with you to make a comprehensive plan that will fit your preferences and advise you what we think is most sustainable and right for your application.

Vacuflush Sanitation

One of Essex Marina’s strongest suites in the industry is VACUFLUSH Sanitation. We regularly service, maintain, and install new VACUFLUSH Sanitation systems. We are a licensed dealer and recommended by all our clients when it comes to VACUFLUSH.
