DESCRIPTION
A popular model during her production years, the Pursuit 3000 Express is a quality midsize fisherman with a comfortable interior and a well-arranged deck layout. This was the replacement boat for Pursuit’s long-running 3100 Express Fisherman; the 3000’s narrower beam, sharper entry, and additional transom deadrise make her a better rough-water performer than her predecessor. While the cockpit can’t be described as massive, anglers will appreciate the excellent nonskid (a Pursuit trademark) and the fine detailing. A transom door, in-deck fish box, bait prep center and coaming bolsters are standard, and a drop-down seat at the transom provides extra seating. The cabin—a handsome display of luxury fabrics and teak trim—sleeps four adults. Additional features include a classy helm with space for extra electronics, a full-height windshield (excellent visibility), side exhausts, and wide side decks. An electric lift system raises the entire bridge deck for engine access. Twin 320hp Crusader gas inboards cruise the 3000 Express at 25 knots (about 35 knots top), and optional 250hp Cummins diesels cruise at 25 knots and reach a top speed of 30 knots .
